About Belli Community Hall

Belli Community Hall is situated between Eumundi and Kenilworth in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It is located on Tourist drive 22, at 1170 Kenilworth Road, Belli Park.

Built in 1932, the hall was originally used by the residents of the Belli Park Community as a venue for a wide variety of social activities such as grand balls, school concerts, birthday parties, dances, wedding functions and movie nights. Although the hall is no longer the social centre for residents of Belli Park it is still accessed by family groups and community organisations for a variety of functions as well as meetings.

The hall is owned by the Belli Park community and is managed and maintained by a small group of volunteers. Proceeds from the ten dances run by the hall committee, hall hire and donations from generous supporters barely cover the crippling costs of insurance and the supply charge for electricity imposed by the state government.

Grants from the Sunshine Coast Council and the Gambling Community Benefit Fund have provided the majority of the funds required to maintain the hall in excellent condition.

Features of the hall include the excellent Crow’s Ash dance floor (12m x 9m), an elevated (1m) stage (3m x 8.5m), a small, well equipped kitchen (4m x 4m), a ‘supper’ area (11m x 4m) suitable for seating up to 40 people and an outdoor covered area (6m x 6m). The committee has refrained from lining the interior of the hall to maintain a ‘rustic’ look.

The hall is available for hire. Please use the contact us form to get in touch.
